Resident Assistant Director Programme
A six month opportunity for a director at the beginning of their career to gain valuable experience assisting on productions at a multi-award-winning theatre whilst learning the administrative skills needed to run a leading Off-West End theatre.
As part of an individually tailored programme, the Resident Assistant Director assists on productions, can attend programming meetings and will work with the Finborough's Literary department, as well as contributing to box office and administrative duties.
This is an unpaid, training position lasting six months. Intakes are in January and July.
Whilst it is expected that candidates will need to undertake other work and will not be available on a full time basis for the entire period, a serious time commitment and focus on the theatre will be required.
The programme is only advertised to members of the Young Vic Genesis Directors Project. You can visit their website here. However, on occasion, the post mayl be filled internally from deserving candidates who have interned or worked at the theatre.
If you are not a member of the Young Vic Genesis Directors Project and would like to apply, please write in May or November ONLY.
Please do not email or phone. Please include your CV and a covering letter giving some details of why you believe you would be suitable for this post.
